The textured nylon (Cordura) is great for older dogs because it provides the most traction and security when getting on and off the bed. It is also the material that is the most similar to what you’ll find on most pillow beds. If that’s what your dog is used to, this will be an easy transition.
If you think your older dog would prefer a shorter bed height, we have 3" crate legs available that you can add to your order for a lower height option.
